Brandon Anderson

Brandon Anderson, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident

Brandon Anderson grew up in Andover, Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. He went on to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota - Duluth. His professional interests include cardiology, infectious disease, and health system leadership. Following his PGY1 residency, Brandon is considering further training through a PGY2 residency program in cardiology or infectious disease. Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys playing volleyball, running, attending concerts and spending time with friends and family.

Marissa Hayday

Marissa Hayday, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident

Marissa Hayday grew up in Bloomington, MN and attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in biology, society and the environment. She went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Her professional interests include oncology, cardiology, critical care and medication safety. Following her PGY1 residency, Marissa is considering further training as a PGY2 in oncology or obtaining a clinical pharmacist position. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys playing tennis, biking, trying new foods and spending time with family, friends and her cat.

Linh Nguyen

Linh Nguyen, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident

Linh Nguyen grew up in Vietnam and moved to Minnesota in 2015. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in biochemistry and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities campus. Her professional interests include oncology, cardiology, pharmacy informatics and leadership. Following her PGY1 residency, Linh is considering further pursuing a PGY2 program in informatics. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling and playing with her cats.

Brianna Schuessler

Brianna Schuessler, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident

Brianna Schuessler grew up in Mankato, MN and attended Concordia University - St. Paul, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry. She went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, cardiology, and transitions of care. Following her PGY1 residency, Brianna is considering further training as a PGY2 in critical care, emergency medicine, or obtaining a clinical pharmacist position. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, hiking and working on house projects.

Sarah Wong

Sarah Wong, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident

Sarah Wong grew up in Burnsville, Minnesota and attended Northwestern College in Iowa, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Her professional interests include cardiology, infectious diseases, critical care and leadership. Following the completion of her PGY1 residency, Sarah is considering a PGY2 in cardiology or infectious diseases. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys traveling, playing golf and soccer, cooking with her husband, trying new foods and spending time with friends and family.

Maria Saimbert

Maria Saimbert, PharmD
PGY2 Cardiology Pharmacy Practice Resident

Maria Saimbert (Same-Bear) was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and grew up on the east coast. She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida and completed a post-graduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy practice residency in Utah. Maria also has an eclectic background including experiences in medical information, and informatics. She is energized working on teams, contributing to the excellent, high-quality care environment at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health. Her professional interests include heart failure/heart transplant, research, health care disparities, and population health. Personal interests include traveling, meditation, yoga, podcasts and watching independent films and documentaries.

Hannah Crum

Hannah Crum, PharmD
PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Practice Resident

Hannah Crum grew up in Rushville, Illinois and attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where she obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy, then completed her PGY1 residency at Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio. Her professional interests include antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial resistance, and HIV. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys seeing Broadway shows, discovering new restaurants and cafes, antique/vintage shopping and spending time with friends, family and her cat.

Brandon Gagnon grew up in Price, Utah and attended Southern Utah University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in human nutrition. He went on to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. His professional interests include antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial resistance, and emergency medicine. Following completion of his PGY1 residency at Abbott Northwestern, he is excited to stay at Abbott Northwestern to complete a PGY2 residency in infectious diseases. He is a current member of SIDP, ASHP, MSHP, and MPhA. Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys basketball, golf, cooking and trying new foods, playing board games and spending time with family and friends.

Outside of pharmacy he enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, golfing and going to Vikings football games.
