[KMSP-TV, February 21, 2016]   According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 30 million children participate in organized sports in the United States every year. The American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine said more than 5.5 million kids from age 5 through high school suffer injuries playing sports each year.
