Volunteering is a great way to explore career fields, gain valuable learning experiences and add to your repertoire for future employment and/or college entrance requirements. It is also a known way to increase self-esteem, meet new friends and develop new skills.
Owatonna Hospital is fortunate to have a growing volunteer program that is always welcoming of new volunteers to help patients and their families. Volunteering is an excellent way to gain experience, discover new talents and make lasting friendships.

Sara Hillesland - Auxiliary volunteer
"Volunteering is needed, and you just need to give back. What else can you do that's more important than that? We've been a great asset to the hospital; plus, it's just a place I love to come to…it's so cheerful and enjoyable. We are blessed in so many ways."
