Cardiac CT and calcium scoring
A non-invasive method to screen for coronary artery disease (CAD). A CT scanner is used to determine the amount of calcified plaque in the arteries of the heart.
Cardiac perfusion scan (heart blood flow test)
This test goes beyond the traditional exercise stress test by producing images of the heart's blood flow at rest and during exercise.
Cardiac/vascular procedures
Includes coronary angiogram, angioplasty and stenting and treatment of lower extremity disease and varicose veins.
Echocardiogram (heart ultrasound)
An echocardiogram is a test that uses sound waves to create a moving picture of the heart.
Exercise stress test
An exercise stress test is a screening tool to test the effect of exercise on your heart. It provides an overall look at the health of your heart.
Holter/Event monitoring
This type of monitor will record your heart rhythm during your everyday activities. For this test, you will wear a portable EKG machine. You will have the monitor for 24 or 48 hours.
Pacemaker and ICD follow-up program
If a pacemaker or ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) helps to regulate your heartbeat, we can help you make sure your cardiac device is working properly. Our experts can evaluate your cardiac device and adjust settings so that you benefit the most.
Peripheral vascular imaging
A
peripheral vascular exam measures blood pressure and blood flow using sound
waves created by a device called a doppler. You will have a test done while you
rest and while you exercise on a treadmill. This test helps tell if there are
blockages in the leg arteries. This test takes about 30 minutes when looking at
leg veins, and 45 minutes or longer when looking at the leg arteries.
Stress echocardiogram
Stress echocardiography is a test that uses ultrasound imaging to determine how the heart muscles respond to stress. It is mainly used to diagnose and evaluate coronary artery disease.
Provides comprehensive care for non-healing wounds. The care team creates a customized treatment plan, coordinates referrals to additional specialists if necessary and monitors the healing progress.
