[Oncology Nurse Advisor, January 01, 0001]   Most patients with invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) breast cancer could be treated with hormones alone and not with chemotherapy, according to a study published in Clinical Breast Cancer (2015; doi:10.1016/j.clbc.2015.08.001). This study analyzed the use of the Oncotype DX gene expression test to predict recurrence of invasive lobular carcinoma.

[Twin Cities Business, April 19, 2011]   Allina Hospitals & Clinics has started work on a project that has been on its radar for about 10 years—a consolidated central medical laboratory. Construction began in March on the new $29 million lab for Allina Medical Laboratories , which will house 400 employees who are currently spread out among 12 labs located in five different buildings on the Abbott Northwestern Hospital campus.

[Star Tribune, April 19, 2011]   Allina Hospitals & Clinics has started building a $29 million medical laboratory space near its headquarters in south Minneapolis. The medical lab, scheduled to open in February, will house about 400 people who currently work in a dozen labs scattered around Abbott Northwestern Hospital in south Minneapolis.

[Finance & Commerce, April 15, 2011]   As of next February, a former Sears warehouse in south Minneapolis will be home to one of the largest and most advanced medical labs in the Midwest. Two weeks ago, Allina Hospitals and Clinics quietly began construction of a 75,500-square-foot lab in the old warehouse.
