The challenge, launched by Allina Health last year as part of it's Change to Chill project, aims to help adolescents find balance in their lives, according to Karen Manikowski, project manager with Allina.

Under a new statewide strategy to care for Ebola patients, Unity Hospital in Fridley has been designated one of four hospitals to treat patients should any cases arise. The Minnesota Hospital Association announced that hospitals and health systems from around the state have developed a coordinated strategy to care for Ebola patients in Minnesota.

Representatives of Allina Health and Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota ceremonially broke ground on The Mother Baby Center at Mercy May 14. When the facility opens next summer, specialized care and birthing options will be available close to home for local families and their newborns.
