Allina's Buffalo Hospital today was named one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® by Thomson Reuters, a leading provider of information and solutions to improve the cost and quality of health care. In addition, Buffalo Hospital is one of 23 hospitals among the 100 winners to be recognized as an Everest Award winner for the greatest rate of improvement over a five-year period.

Buffalo Hospital is among the top three hospitals in the state for providing quality health care with efficient value, according to results from Best Practices, a research study released by Minnesota 2020. Buffalo Hospital was ranked third in the study of 42 Minnesota hospitals.

St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee is among the top 10 hospitals in Minnesota for providing quality health care with efficient value, according to results of a study on Minnesota 2020, an Internet news site. Also on the list are Allina's Cambridge Medical Center and Buffalo Hospital.

Buffalo Hospital is elevating maternity care to a new level! In just a few weeks, the hospital will raise the roof and add a second story to make room for a new Birth Center. The current Birth Center was built in 1980 and is undersized to meet the community’s expectations and growing needs.
