[KMSP-TV Fox 9 News, November 13, 2012]   An investigation by Fox 9 News shows some Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), meant to shock cardiac arrest victim's hearts back to life, may fail because they haven't been maintained properly. The Allina Health HeartSafe Communities Program provides needed maintenance for the AEDs it places.

[KARE 11, February 14, 2012]   Allina Medical Transportation is the first EMS service in the nation linked to a national program to help cardiac arrest victims. The program is called AED Link and it is aimed at getting defibrillators to cardiac patients faster.
