[New Ulm Journal, June 29, 2013] New Ulm Medical Center, part of Allina Health, officially opened it's newly expanded and remodeled birthing center Friday, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The $1 million project was supported by $200,000 in local donations.
The project, which began in the fall of 2012, added two new labor and delivery rooms, giving the hospital a total of six. The four existing rooms were also renovated.
