Thousands of kids get free bikes

[KSTP TV, December 01, 2012] Thousands of kids in the metro received an early holiday gift – a new bike – thanks to Free Bikes 4 Kidz, Allina Health and thousands of volunteers.

Free Bikes 4 Kidz held its fifth annual giveaway on Saturday. Five thousand children and young people were on the gift list this year, many of them at the Allina Health headquarters in Minneapolis. In addition to a bike, the kids also got free helmets donated by Allina.
