United Hospital to open new emergency department

[Allina Newsroom, April 11, 2011] Allina's United Hospital will celebrate its new emergency department, the Peter J. King Emergency Care Center, on Friday, April 15, with an open house. The public event is free and open to the public. It starts at 2 p.m. at 333 North Smith Avenue, St. Paul.

The event will feature a parade of ambulances from area EMS organizations, a flyover by a medevac helicopter and presentations. Tours of the new facility, the opportunity to observe a medical training session, health screenings, activities for children, and refreshments will be available. More information:
