Hospital Rolls Forward with Cancer Center

[Faribault Daily News, November 17, 2010] Storming ahead amid hospital budget concerns, the new District One Hospital cancer center project is officially under way, slated for completion by early March.

The new cancer center in Faribault, Minnesota, is a partnership between District One and Allina Hospitals & Clinics. It will be modeled after Allina’s Virginia Piper Cancer institute, utilizing several well-established models of care, greatly enhancing efficiency, said David McIntyre, MD, lead physician at Allina Medical Clinic – Faribault.
