MINNEAPOLIS (May 27, 2020) — The Lino Lakes city council has selected Allina Health EMS to provide emergency medical services to the community. Allina Health EMS will take over the service area on June 1, 2020 following the vote by the Lino Lakes City Council on May 11.
“We are pleased to recommend Allina Health as our new EMS provider,” Lino Lakes Public Safety Director John Swenson told the City Council. “Allina has a longstanding operation in Anoka County with many positive comments regarding their ambulance services from other Anoka County jurisdictions currently being serviced by Allina Ambulance.”
In addition to EMS service, Allina Health will provide medical direction and education to Lino Lakes police and fire first responders.

Allina Health EMS will lease space at a Lino Lakes fire station where it will base an ambulance. Allina Health EMS also operates a 911 dispatch center that will provide dispatch services and pre-arrival medical direction for EMS calls in Lino Lakes.
