New Ulm Medical Center selected Best Minnesota Hospital Workplace by MHA; Allina Health named a Top Workplace in Minnesota by Star Tribune

NEW ULM, Minn. (June 11, 2019) — The Minnesota Hospital Association has named Allina Health's New Ulm Medical Center a Best Minnesota Hospital Workplace recently at its annual award banquet. In addition, Allina Health has been named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune.

"Providing outstanding care to all those who come to our clinics and hospitals is only possible by ensuring we provide an outstanding work environment for our employees," said Toby Freier, president of New Ulm Medical Center. "The same Whole Person Care goal we have for caring for our patients we also apply to our employees and it is gratifying that this is reflected in our selection as a Top Workplace."

The Minnesota Hospital Association selected New Ulm Medical Center as a Best Minnesota Hospital Workplace from among its 141 member hospitals and health systems.

The results of the Star Tribune Top Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. More than 2,200 area companies were invited to participate. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses. The Star Tribune Top Workplaces honor recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction.
