NEW ULM, Minn. (Sept. 5, 2019) — New Ulm Medical Center Clinic is proud to welcome two new obstetrics and gynecology specialists, Ashleigh Swearingen, MD, and Keary Johnson, MD, to its staff.

Dr. Swearingen is particularly interested in management of adolescent exams, infertility, pregnancy complications, family planning, perimenopause/menopause, normal and high-risk pregnancy, and minimally invasive surgery.

“Open communication builds the strong foundation for the patient-physician relationship,” Dr. Swearingen says of her practice philosophy. “It is a privilege to walk alongside patients on the journey to wellness.”

Dr. Johnson has special interests in preconception care, obstetrics, normal and high-risk pregnancy, menstrual irregularities, well-woman exams, pelvic organ prolapse, contraception, and minimally invasive surgery.

“Partnering with my patients is the best way to achieve their health goals,” Dr. Johnson says. “Making sure my patients and I share an understanding of that we want to accomplish is the key to good care.”
