Kelly Spratt named president of Buffalo Hospital and Cambridge Medical Center

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. 2/14/2019  Allina Health has named Kelly Spratt as the new president of Buffalo Hospital and Cambridge Medical Center. He will begin his new position on March 11. As president of the two campuses, he will lead strategy and operations throughout Allina Health's North Region.

"I’ve been fortunate to know Kelly through the health care community for a number of years, and am confident his clinical and operational background, along with his experience in physician practice leadership, will be a valuable addition to our team as we continue to build a connected system of care," said Mike McMahan, Chief Integration Officer, Allina Health. "He is a genuine leader who thrives in bringing teams together to create plans and implement initiatives through honest dialog and a grounded approach."

Spratt has 30 years of leadership experience in health care including a variety of roles with Hennepin Healthcare and North Memorial Health Care. He comes to Allina Health from Hennepin Healthcare, where he oversaw ambulatory care and Emergency Medical Services as chief ambulatory officer. Spratt started his health care career as a paramedic. He also serves as board chair for Restart, Inc., a non-profit organization that helps adults with brain injury and related disabilities to live independently.

Spratt holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, and a master’s degree in health and human services administration from Saint Mary's University.
