Free workshop to learn about managing falls and increasing activity levels to start April 2

OWATONNA, Minn. 3/14/2019  Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute — Owatonna is offering a free program designed to help older adults manage falls and increase activity levels.

"A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls" includes eight, two-hour sessions for a small group led by a trained facilitator. Participants will learn to:

  • view falls as controllable,
  • set goals for increasing activity,
  • make changes to reduce fall risks at home,
  • exercise to increase strength and balance.
