MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. 1/31/2019 — Allina Health will open its fifth and newest Everyday Clinic on February 4 inside the New Hope Hy-Vee, located at 8200 42nd Avenue, North, New Hope. Allina Health opened its first four Allina Health Everyday Clinics inside the Eagan, Lakeville, Robbinsdale and Brooklyn Park Hy-Vee stores. Plans are underway to open another Allina Health Everyday Clinics in the Plymouth Hy-Vee. Like all Everyday clinics, no appointment is necessary.
Starting Monday, Feb. 4, patients can schedule an Allina Health Everyday Clinic appointments online through their Allina Health account or at allinahealth.org/everydayclinic at all of our five sites. By offering our patients the option to schedule ahead of time, we’re making it even easier for them to receive care that’s most convenient for them.
"With today’s busy lifestyles, access to convenient and affordable health care services where people live, work and shop is more important than ever before," said Dave Slowinske, senior vice president with Allina Health. The Allina Health Everyday Clinic will complement many of the services Hy-Vee already offers in its stores, which includes registered dietitians, pharmacists and healthy food choices.
Research has shown that today’s consumers are seeking care at grocery stores and stand-alone locations because they offer more convenient hours, lower cost and no appointment needed. “We’re excited to offer more ways people can access our health care services," said Slowinske. "In addition to the Everyday clinics already open in the Lakeville, Eagan, Robbinsdale and Brooklyn Park Hy-Vee stores, we plan to open another in the Hy-Vee store in Plymouth soon."
Our Everyday Clinics is one part of our long-term convenience care strategy to help patients and consumers better understand health care options available to them that best meet their needs. The Allina Health Everyday Clinics are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. The clinics are staffed by Allina Health board-certified advance practice clinicians and offer convenient care for minor illnesses and rapid laboratory testing for patients aged 18 months and older. Additional primary care services continue to be offered at nearby Allina Health clinics located in Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove and Plymouth.
