River Falls Area Hospital CEO David Miller named to list of CEOs to know

RIVER FALLS, Wis. 10/9/2018 — River Falls Area Hospital president David Miller has been named to Becker's Healthcare list of Critical Care Hospital CEOs to know. Miller is one of 71 hospital leaders selected to the list out of more than 1,300 Critical Assess Hospitals in the country.

"The men and women included on this list lead organizations that are regularly recognized for patient safety and quality," Becker's Healthcare said making the announcement. "These individuals hold an important role within their community, serving on corporate boards and state-level initiatives to improve access to care."

Miller has a long history in leadership at Allina Health. Miller has served as River Falls Area Hospital's president since 2008. He is a former nationally registered paramedic and served as the president of St. Paul, Minn.-based Allina Health Emergency Medical Services and Allina Health Urgent Care Clinics. Previously, he was vice president of operations for United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., where he led the development of the John Nasseff Neuroscience Institute, the St. Paul Cancer Center and the Peter J. King Emergency Center. He also was responsible for multiple patient care departments, support services departments and strategic initiatives.
