Owatonna Hospital offers Baby Café on Thursdays beginning Sept. 13

OWATONNA, Minn. 8/14/2018   Owatonna Hospital opens its free Baby Café on Thursday, Sept. 13. A free, family-friendly drop-in center for any mom, pregnant or with a child up to age 1, the Baby Café offers information and support to help you reach your breastfeeding goals. Baby Café takes place every Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Owatonna Hospital.

During this time, you can get help with breastfeeding — or just talk — with a certified lactation counselor from Owatonna Hospital and other moms, like you.

Get answers to your questions in an informal, comfortable setting:
• I’m pregnant and wondering, “How will I feed my baby?”
• I’m having a few problems with breastfeeding.
• How can I continue to breastfeed after I go back to work?
• How/when do I start solid foods?

The Owatonna Hospital Baby Café site is part of Baby Café USA, a non-profit organization supporting the development of licensed U.S. Baby Cafés.

You don’t need to have given birth at Owatonna Hospital to go to Baby Café. It’s sponsored by Owatonna Hospital Foundation as a service to the community.

Plus, enjoy a free beverage and snack when you visit. There is also a scale available for weighing your baby.

The Baby Café is located in the Reflection Room of Owatonna Hospital, 2250 NW 26th Street in Owatonna.
