Owatonna Hospital Auxiliary Festival of Tables makes generous donation

OWATONNA, Minn. 7/23/2018 Owatonna Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Committee received nearly $8,000 — thanks to the generosity of the community — from the Festival of Tables Committee through proceeds from the fundraiser held in May.

The committee provides scholarships — through the Donald Sanford Nursing Scholarship and Auxiliary Health Related Career Scholarship — to students attending a college, university or graduate health care program. The student must show a financial need, pursue a career in health care and live within Steele County.

The Festival of Tables Committee has also previously donated proceeds from their fundraiser to the Penny George™ Institute for Health and Healing outpatient clinic at Owatonna Hospital, Owatonna Hospital Emergency Department, domestic violence patient care and Owatonna Hospital Sleep Center.
