New Allina Health Hastings Clinic to host community open house

HASTINGS, Minn. 4/16/2018  Allina Health's new Hastings Clinic will hold a free community open house on May 5, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., to welcome the public to its two-story, state-of-the-art facility which opened Nov. 2017. The open house will feature a soccer training session hosted by Minnesota United FC, interactive soccer-themed games and activities, clinic tours, a look inside an ambulance and helicopter and free lunch.

"Our goal is for residents of Hastings and surrounding communities to receive comprehensive health care close to home and, at the same time, have access to specialists through the broader Allina Health network," said Melody McKenzie, MD, lead physician for the Allina Health Hastings clinic. “We hope families are able to swing by the open house and enjoy some healthy, fun activities together this spring!”

The new clinic offers primary care services, relocated from the First Street clinic, including:
• family practice physicians
• nurse practitioners
• physician assistants, 
• pediatricians
• same-day care providers
• occupational health services
• eye services
• mental health 
• occupational health.

New offerings include integrative medicine services ranging from acupuncture to nutrition consultations through the Penny George™ Institute for Health and Healing.

Just a mile-and-a-half away, Regina Hospital and Nininger Clinic, both part of Allina Health, provide a broad scope of  health services for the entire family.
